    Finished Size: 60" x 74"

    Supplies:

    20 6-1/2" strips or a "Fabric Roll"

    1 yard border fabric

    2/3 yard binding fabric

    3-1/2 yards backing fabric

    Batting to measure 64" x 78"

    1. Cut each strip into six 6-1/2" squares. This will yield 120 squares. Reserve 30 squares for the pieced border.
    2. Sew the squares together randomly into 9 rows of 9 squares each.
    3. Cut border fabric into three 2 x 44" strips for inner border. Attach to top and bottom of quilt only.
    4. Cut remaining squares in half. Sew these rectangles together. Join to create top and bottom pieced borders. Attach to quilt.
    5. Cut remaining border fabric into 3 x 44" strips. Sew on all four sides of quilt.
    6. Piece backing fabric. Layer backing, batting and quilt top. Diagonally quilt an "X" through each block and border. Bind quilt.
